This was a long sweet weekend, full of goodies and relaxation. But not a lot of fresh fruits or veggies. I wanted to try to catch up and cool off today by making a little smoothie with lots of antioxidants, and I was feeling too lazy for chewing. I also have been wanting to use my party bullet again since finally ordering a replacement blade. Now a party bullet is like a magic bullet but groovier cups… But works just about the same.
Anywho, I gathered up a bunch happy healthy ingredients. Banana, blueberries, frozen pineapple, almond butter, honey, cinnamon, chia seeds, acai powder and almond milk. I felt that theses were a nice balance of filling ingredients and antioxidant/ vitamin packed ingredients. But you can really add just about anything you want as long as there’s balance with liquids, frozen and non- frozen ingredients.
